The greatest gift of life is friendship, and I have received it. When we first step into this world we didn't know who are the people around us but because of God, he gave us a friends who are their at our sides. Friends are the one we can run on when we need an advice because of our problems. They are the one who is always their in our sides whenever you are alone or sad. We also experience new things we didn’t even bother to experience but they drag you with them to feel for you what they feel so much.

These peoples are had been part of my life in just a short time. Each day we have lots of memories to keep and to cherish until the day we have to separate because we have a new chapter of life to face. I may not close to some of them but for me I treasure each and every one of them and I assume the same feeling as what I have felt for them. They are not the type of a friend who will let you go down alone, they are the one who cheer you up and help you in any kinds of works you can’t understand or don’t know how to work on it. As I remember, when I step at the Asia Pacific College I never know that I will have a new circle of friends. Having lots of friends around me I feel so loved and protected because I know when you did something wrong they will scold you like you’re parents.

 And I will be forever thankful to god because he gave me a precious gift. I had a lot of friend’s way back then when I was a kid and up until now but when the day we left our house things change, I can’t talk to them like before and I can’t do the same things I did before. But despite of all those things happen at least they are still my friends even if we are not that close anymore I will always treasure the moments, the laughter’s and everything we did. I really love them all to the point I treat them as my sister/brother. They will always forever remain in my hearts until I close my eyes.

December 19, 2015, Saturday is my day, it’s also raining but they say when sky is raining more blessings is coming to your life. I went to school with some foods that I prepared and I met my classmate Rachelyn at the caf. We stay their about a minute and went to 11^th floor because she’s meeting someone. Of course I accompany her and be with her, as we are walking on the 11^th floor I was so scared because there is no people plus it’s raining and a bit dark. I was about to run when I saw my classmate in a dark room, Rachelyn told me to enter so when we enter I got surprised because I saw my classmate and great me a Happy Birthday my tears began to fall but luckily it wasn’t. I am so happy because they surprise me and the thought is I also expected that because of her (Denielle) she is my best friend and I thank god I met her. The day continue and a lot of my classmates great me a Happy Birthday and also some of my former friends great me on a text and in a chat. I was so very thankful that I met all of them. God is so great to me even if I do some sins but still he gave wondrous friends who are there at my side. This day is so much to remember. I love you guys and thank you so much!!!

    

Dear John is a 2010 American romantic drama-war film starring Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum. It was made by Screen Gems and was released theatrically in North America on February 5, 2010. The film was directed by Lasse Hallström, and it is an adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' 2006 novel of the same name. It follows the life of a soldier (Channing Tatum) after he falls in love with a young woman (Amanda Seyfried). They decide to exchange letters to each other after he is deployed to the war. The movie was filmed in 2009 in Charleston, South Carolina.

John Tyree

John Tyree, the narrator of the novel Dear John was born in 1977 and grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina. John was always in motion and hated to be alone. School was like a social club with sports. John was very outgoing and taller than his father when he was in eight grade. He was very athletic as he was able to beat his father at wrestling when he was in middle school. John had brown hair and eyes and olive skin that would tan by May. He also had a crew cut that John and Savannah would talk about later in the novel. When he was young he started to care about sports, girls, cars, music, and spending little time at home. However when High school had started, John grew on to his rebellious stage and would cut classes, smoke, get suspended, and gave up on sports. During this stage, he had dated dozens of women. After he had dated Lucy and their break up, he soon joined the military and participated in the boot camp in Fort Benning. He was twenty years old and in late 1977 at the time. After he went in to the military, he had quit smoking and hadn’t touched cigarettes in over two years. He moderated his drinking and his record was clean. He had become an officer candidate school (OCS) later on because people thought that he could really lead.

Savannah Lynn Curtis

In the novel when John first meets Savannah, she is described to be an attractive brunette that is a little younger than John. She was described as very beautiful and had a slightly gap-toothed smile. It also mentions in the novel that she has an accent. When they had first met, Savannah was a junior in college and majoring in special education. Her laugh was described as being melodic and had dark eyes. She was twenty-one at the time. She does not drink alcohol and attends church every Sunday. Being a devoted Christian in the family, her parents are very understanding and she has described herself as being sheltered during her childhood. Savannah later experienced a trauma that almost led her to be raped by a senior that attended in her college. It had given her a hard time and all of her friends made fun of her. Later when she falls in love with John, she later marries Tim because of the long distance for a long period of time.

Tim Wheddon

Tim Wheddon is described in the novel as being Savannah’s close friend and has an autistic younger brother that is around twelve years old at the time. In the novel he serves as a character that shows friendliness, courtesy, and being considerate towards John even though they had just met. John later finds out that Tim Wheddon loves Savannah and finds out that after a couple of years, Tim and Savannah ends up being married. When Tim’s parents had died in a car crash, he later becomes hospitalized for excessive bleeding. In the novel, his physical features state that he is shorter and much paler than John and have short hair.

Bill Tyree

Bill Tyree was John Tyree’s father and he drove a mail delivery route for the post office. As described by his son, he is passive and introspective. He placed high on education. He had poor posture and tended to shuffle when he walked. He had sandy hair, hazel eyes, and freckles. He was socially awkward and quietest man John, his son had ever known. He was forty three when he had his first and last child, John Tyree. He lived for routine and did the same things such as he didn’t date or spend weekend nights playing poker with his buddies. Bill was later found to have Aspergers although it was never proven in the book. Suffering from two heart attacks, Bill had passed away.

“Dear John”, a heart‐breaking letter changed a man’s life radically. It is a story about a man whose name is John Tyree. He lived only with his father because his mother left them after he was born.    And John’s father likes to collect the coins, but as John growing up, he didn’t like what his father did and even shouted to his father.    When he was a teenager he hung out with his friends every day.    He even didn’t know what to do with his future, but he still pretended everything was okay.    However, after Lucy who has been his girlfriend departed him, he faced the music and thought more about the future.    Then, he enlisted in the army.    During a furlough, he met Savannah, the girl of his dreams.    The attraction is mutual and quickly grows into the kind of love that Savannah vowing to wait for John while he finished his duty.    And John was ready to turn over a new leaf.    In the meanwhile because of Savannah, the relationship between John and his dad got better.    She also found out about the health problems of John’s father, which also    made John take better care of his dad.    Nonetheless, when Savannah entered the college, there were many arguments that happened between them. These arguments made the relationship between them change.    Then, Savannah broke up with him via a letter when John was served in Iraq.    John was heartbroken.    Seven weeks after taking his father to a good healthcare center, his father died of heart attack.    After the funeral, John decided to find Savannah to figure out everything.    Then, he learned Savannah had gotten married to Tim, and Tim was dying.    Additionally, Tim’s parents    died suddenly from a car accident.    John was sorry and knew that Tim was a nice guy who loved Savannah much.    He knew that the relation among Tim, Savannah and Alan, who was Tim’s mentally challenged brother, was strong and no one could get evolved in it.    Even though John was still in love with Savannah Tim hoped that John could take care of Savannah after he died.    John still didn’t want to transform his love.    He made his mind to leave the happy memories with Savannah behind.

They say that the best life will come in our lives is when we reach our teenage stage. But when we reach this stage did you know what are the changes will come into our lives? And what are the problems may we encounter as a teenager?

As a teenager we experience a lot of things in our lives. We can do the things that we can’t do when we were a kid, but know as we in the right age we do the things we want to feel as happy and keep as alive.

When we reach our teenage stage we meet new circle of friends. A friend who will make our simple and silent world to be louder and colorful.

We will also meet a true friend who will help us to be free from the all stress in our lives. They will always there for us in times we need a friend who will fill our needs.

And those friends who will be our family and will be a part of our lives are the peoples we treasure. We can’t find true friends, only those persons around us are true.

As we reach teenage stage, most of us are having problems and the only person and thing we are looking for are friends and alcoholics. In that case it lessens our problems.

Even a simple little kid learns to smoke because of the people around them. They see what are they putting in there mouth and through their curiosity they will also try do it.

Cigarette and alcoholic drinks are the most powerful addiction of the teenagers. They can’t even live without tasting this two things in there lives.

While some of the teenagers are taking drugs too. In the USA even here in the Philippines, drug abuse is a major problem affecting millions of teenagers, along with their parents and families.

It is an imperative that parents, schools, media, etc, educate the young children about the dangers of drugs and alcohol, and how drugs affect their bodies. If they are taught properly, then they will be able to make an educated choice.

Teenagers are also having problems with their studies. They even don’t have enough time to sleep because they have to finish all the works by morning.

After school we are also facing problems at home with our parents. They even also fight because of our wrongs decisions. It can cause to a teenager to disobey his/her parents.

Also for some reason lots of teenagers are so conscious about their body and weight. The problem with this feeling is that it affects their self-image. As a teenage boy or girl's body changes, so does the self.

While some other teens are so addicted in internet, videos games and cell phones. They are even awake for almost 24 hours because they are focusing too much in they’re gadgets.

Also bullying is one of the worst teenage problems and it affects millions of youth. It causes them to have fear in their minds and makes them nervous going to school.

Depression was also a worst problem of teenagers suffers from and it can lead to more problems in the future. Depression may arise from poor self-esteem and body image problems.

The best feeling as a teenager is to feel in loved and to feel love with someone you like. We are also experience new things with them and we also feel to be broken caused by them.

As a teenager we are also facing problem about teenage pregnancies. At an early young age lots of teenagers got pregnant because of their wrong decisions.

But still Parent’s guidance is best for us teenagers because they know what will be the cause and effect of our wrong decisions. We should listen to them because they know what’s best in us and it can lead us to a better future.

Teenage problems are nothing compare to our freedom. Problems we are facing right now are just struggles in our life. Being free in any kinds of problems can lead us to a happy and peacefully teenage life.

December 22, 2015, Tuesday is the day of the event which is the Speech Choir Competition. The event will start at 8 in the morning and every one is expecting to have a good performance. Our block TM151 went to school so early at 6 in the morning to have a practice and also to fix ourselves especially to us, girls, while some of my other classmates are preparing the props to be use in our competition. This is the day we are waiting; and we can’t wait to go to the stage and present.

Each course presents their speech in a way they do, some of them sing the speech, dance and act. All of them are so good and we can’t wait to be the next who will be presenting. And these are the other blocks:

And last but not the least; let’s don’t forget the champion of this Speech Choir, the TM151! Whoooooo! It’s like a bomb that was throw to us, this day was so very happy. All the sweat and the hardship, the time and everything was worth very well because we will not gets the title as a champion without our Leaders who are their to help us to be the Champion. We are so very happy because it was an advance gift from god because he gave a so much gift to treasure and remember. I was so very happy to be a part of this people and I know there is a lot of competition to be together and no matter what happen we are still TM151. Congrats guyssss!

December 21, 2015 was the day of a competition called Public Speaking. The event started at 8:30 in the morning and it held at the APC Library 7^th floor, Discussion room A, B and C. Then when all the participants of each course are in the auditorium they give their respective rooms and went to APC Library. Each course has 6 representatives and if they won 2 of each course will lead to their next stop. I can see that every one of them is so nervous thinking that one of them will stand in the middle of the stage and deliver their speeches and answering the questions of the judges. Some of them just keep calm to deliver their speech and some of them forgot some words of their speech and I can see that they are so tense. 

When the game was done little by little the speakers came and for a minute two of each representatives of the course came to the stage and speak their speech. Each course has 6 representatives and if they won 2 of each course will lead to their next stop. I can see that every one of them is so nervous thinking that one of them will stand in the middle of the stage and deliver their speeches and answering the questions of the judges. Some of them just keep calm to deliver their speech and some of them forgot some words of their speech and I can see that they are so tense.

Tomorrow, December 22, 2015 is the judgment day and waiting who will be the winner in this Public Speaking. We are also excited for tomorrow’s event the most awaited Public Speaking Competition. We wish that no matter what happen is that we do our best and give a nice shots to every one of us.

As I went here I saw High School Students, they are preparing themselves for this competition which called Speak Sense. When the contest was started I hear there voices and I am so proud of them because at their young age they have this confident lifestyle. As they deliver their speech some of the High School students are not prepared and didn’t memorize their speech I think because of nervousness.

But there is this one girl delivers her speech well with feelings in every word she says. She was so amazing, and I can’t find any other words but just amazing. Amazement over on our faces was written as she spoke her speech. This girl have a good feature someday, she may be a good speaker someday and I’m sure her family especially her parents are so proud of her because she is intelligent.

At the end of the contest the girl who spoke with feelings is the winner because of her heart breaking speech. She was crying when the announcer calls her name as the winner of the contest. Her mentor was so proud of her together with her classmates. They are happy because of what their classmate got and they are so proud her. I was inspired because of the way she delivers her speech. I want to have that kind of confident someday and I also want to have that kind of speech when I deliver it in front of the audience.
